He Loves Me!, Part Two

In the same shipment with the Dakin Bacon, My Beloved also sent me this box of 50 packets of Westminster Oyster Crackers. We ate these in Michigan this summer and loved them. We also found them here at the Lobster Shack last month. They are the best. Light. Crunchy. A little salty. They are addictive, kinda like MB.

Have you ever heard anything so sweet? I didn't think so.

Stupendous! Does he come up with these ideas all by himself?
How industrious of him (and what a good memory) to track down those crackers.

I'm with Greg. I'm still mesmerized by the bacon. But thanks for the reminder that I still need to head over to the Lobster Shack.

Morgan: Oh, what an Aussie. They are miniature crackers you toss into oyster stew.
Just like oyster sauce is... not made with oysters. Oh, wait, maybe it is.

Wow, keeping up with you retirees is hard work. Next thing I know you'll be posting 50 different bowls of soup to go with your crackers.

Cookiecrumb, yes, he's a self-starter in these adventures.

Greg, me, too, but the crackers make a great snack!

Dagny, yes, you must. Go now. Go often.

Morgan, see Cookiecrumb's answer below. Crackers to go with oysters (and really any shellfish) rather than made with said. And we say "crackers" when we mean "biscuits" and you (I think) say "crackers" when you mean "crazy." English is such a fun language!

Cookiecrumb, thanks for the clarification.

Peter, welcome back. MB is not retired yet, just me, but he's a good multitasker. I'll post 50 different simple soups (and a smiley face) while you post one soup with 50 different ingredients (and no exclamation points).

Heather, you're right! Biscuits _are_ cookies! What's the word for crackers?

Ta for the clarification - I couldn't quite get my head around oyster flavoured biscuits (when we say biscuits we mean cookies). Crackers are savoury biscuits, also crazy (mad) people (mad as in crazy, not grumpy).
You know the English have hedgehog flavoured crisps - just saying.
(if an Australian offers you "some hedgehog" take them up on it, hedgehog is a sort of chocolate/biscuit/brownie slice sort of thing).

Morgan, thank heavens you cleared up the hedgehog thing - I was imagining that they were killing adorable little hedgehogs to make food - eeep!
