Hunter's Delight
The intense reduction alone was enough to make this combination of pork medallions and buttermilk quail breast with wild apple chutney a smashing success, but the Huntsman's chef went the whole hog and added that drizzle of creme fraiche and a sweet potato and leek pancake to send me off into food coma. I just gotta get more exercise!

Hunter's Club does sound like a delight-- the whole idea. And anything served with an intense reduction has my attention. Having just caught up with your recent posts, I am envious of you going to Michigan, but not your airplane flight.
They have weather in Michigan, and water! We Californians envy that, eh?
I am thinking I will have to pack some food for our upcoming flight to Austin... I haven't been on an airplane in years.
Moonbear, flying isn't fun - just remember that you'll need to remove your shoes and jewelry to go through the radar so wear slipons and no metal. It's more a pain in the neck than anything else - you'll be fine. But, yes, take your own food! :-)
Oh my, oh my! That meal looks (and sounds) so good.
(Do you have to forgo the underwire bra at the airport these days? Sheesh... U.S. out of my undergarments now!)
Cookiecrumb, can't answer that but I do know that the metal detector chirps at the hooks on the back of said garment! Big Brother is interested in even more than one's undies, unfortunately!
Moonbear,
The Northwest Airlines gate at SFO was right across the corridor from Perry's. Yes as in Union Street adn I can recommend as a way to fight the airline food blahs!(s)

I have almost entered a food coma just looking at your photos from Hunter's Club. I think I would need a wheelchair to make it out of the place.
Dagny, it was a rich meal, indeed, but I was up to the challenge!
