Ain't Life Grand?
My Beloved and I have much to celebrate in our lives. Each other. Great families. Super friends. Happy employment. Happy retirement. Enough $$ but not so much that we become like Paris Hilton.
For the past three plus years, the world's most beautiful granddaughter. She is a delight and an amazement, full of smiles, a very girly girl.
Now, a grandson. Mother and baby doing fine according to his Dad and - guess what! - the baby has a big appetite.
Happy times.

Did you notice the comments to you, the child-free one, are from child-free readers?
Congratulations.
We can congratulate her with a clean conscience because none of us will be changing those poopy diapers or having to get up for the 2 AM feeding.
Cool thing about grandchildren! Give them back when they cry.
Chilebrown, thanks. We are thrilled for them.
Nancy, thank you and you're right about grands - no poopy diapers (which I remember vividly from when my younger brother was in the diaper stage) and no interrupted nights.
Cookiecrumb, not until you pointed it out. Yes to giving them back when they cry and I'm even worse - I won't even hold them when they are this small - 'way too scary! Buzz is great with babies, however, so I let him do all the cuddling.
Thanks, Greg. We toasted him with bubbly last night.
