Legacy

This little guy is a treasure that I liberated from my Belle-Mere's kitchen when I was packing it up. I was on the fence about whether to put olive oil or dish soap in it, but My Beloved said, "Oh, oil, surely!" so oil it is.

Kind of a fun way to think of her each day.

Charming. I hope you washed out the soap (if there was any) first.
:D
Just leave it out, next to the stove. You'll probably be grabbing for it several times a day.

This is the most charming oil canister from that period. Absolutely fabulous. Can't wait to bring you some oil for it. The question is do you want Canola or Turkish Olive oil?

Greg, happy New Year to you, too!

Cookiecrumb, she had used it for olive oil, too, but it had gotten rancid so I did wash it out - and I do leave it out near the stove, both as a reminder of her and because it's so convenient!

Anonymous (Momo), I have never tried Turkish olive oil so I vote for that! :-)
