Fall Colors

Who says the Left Coast doesn't have spectacular fall colors?

This amazing display of peppers was at the Marin farmer's market last week.

Take that, Vermont!

  2. Well put.
PS: You should see my pear tree leaves, and the sycamore tree leaves across the fence. If you want color.
Also. I've been saving a bit of spring color for you. You wouldn't believe it. I just haven't figured out a presentation.

  3. Absolutely gorgeous! I love all the different colors in one little vegetable! That's one odd thing here...besides the fruit, most everything is GREEN. We actually search out different colored foods at the farmer's market to supplement our green veggie diet!!

  4. Nancy, well, maybe not quite as good as a Matisse...!

    Cookiecrumb, okay, now I'm curious!

Michelle, that's interesting, something I never noticed about Hawaii. The fruits, however, give lots of color!

  6. Rev, go make some salsa, then! And bring some to the party, if you can make it!

  8. Funny to find this blog today because today i bought my first purple pepper! I never knew there was such a rainbow. Living in MN where "Fall" means "the panic of winter will slowly set in more and more each day," I would never dream of knock'n the Left Coast. Enjoy your colors in whatever way you can!

  9. Mrs. I, I'll bet they are there this year! Go find 'em!

K, welcome! And remember you can always come out for a mid-winter holiday if it gets too cold there!

I love to get your comments. Answering them is nearly as much fun as writing the blog posts.
